Dr. Andrew Hamilton-Wright is an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science, University of Guelph, part of the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. He is a member of the Centre for Advancing Responsible and Ethical Artificial Intelligence (CARE-AI) and has been at the university since 2017. He holds a PhD from the University of Waterloo (2006) and previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Queen’s University and an Associate Professor at Mount Allison University.
His research focuses on machine learning, association mining, and data visualization to support decision-making in healthcare. Key areas include electrophysiological data analysis for disease characterization, fatigue and pain prediction using biophysical signals, and the development of robust software tools for visualizing complex data.
