Andrew Fox is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of California, Davis, and a member of the California National Primate Research Center (CNPRC). He holds a Ph.D. and B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on the neurobiology of affective style, particularly dispositional anxiety, using translational approaches in humans and nonhuman primates. Key tools include neuroimaging, RNA-sequencing, and computational methods like cellphone-based experience sampling. He leads the Fox Lab for Translational Affective Neuroscience, emphasizing open science and collaboration.
