About
Dr. Andrew Foster is a Lecturer in Polymer Science at University of Manchester with research focus on advanced membrane technologies. His work explores polymer nanocomposites for gas separation applications, particularly CO₂ capture.
Holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Queen's University Belfast and PGCE from University of Manchester. Research integrates materials chemistry with engineering applications, developing thin-film composite membranes and hybrid materials. Current projects include EPSRC SynHiSel programme on high-selectivity membranes.
Honors include Chartered Chemist status and DH Richards travel bursary. Serves on editorial boards for Membranes and Polymers journals.
