Andrew F. Newman is a Professor of Economics at Boston University and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in London and Paris. His research focuses on economic theory, particularly organizational economics, industrial organization, and development economics. He holds a PhD from Harvard University and has held academic positions at University College London, Columbia University, and Northwestern University. He has also held visiting roles at Harvard, Princeton, the Institute for Advanced Study, Yale, and Brown.
