Andrew Cleary is a Vocal Tutor at the University of Chichester Conservatoire and a versatile freelance musician serving as Musical Director for the Portsmouth Military Wives Choir and Portsmouth Milton Glee Choir, alongside roles at St Peter's Church, Bishop's Waltham, and Lee Choral Society.
He graduated from the University of East Anglia as Organ Scholar at Norwich Cathedral, later studying at the Royal College of Music where he directed Ensemble Nouve Musiche and became Assistant Organist at St Martin-in-the-Fields Church with BBC broadcasting experience.
His expertise spans vocal performance, choral conducting, and organ, evidenced by collaborations with Tenebrae and the King's Singers, commissioning works from composers like Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, and leading choirs to victories in the Portsmouth Schools' Glee Competition (2010) and Barnado's National Choir Competition (2014, 2015).
Accolades include Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts, alongside service as Past-President of the MMA and Member of the King's Theatre Trust.
