Dr. Andrew Cassens is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and full-time faculty member in the Department of Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School. He specializes in PTSD treatment, co-occurring substance use disorders, and evidence-based psychotherapies. Cassens completed his clinical internship at the Federal Medical Center (Federal Bureau of Prisons) and maintains clinical practice at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Michigan.
His forensic training spans correctional facilities, state mental health centers, and court/probation systems. Cassens holds multiple degrees from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology including a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology and master's degrees in both Forensic and Clinical Psychology.
