Andrej Findor

Andrej Findor is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences (Comenius University, Bratislava), specializing in political psychology and quantitative research methods. He studied political science at Comenius University and Central European University in Budapest, earning his PhD in 2006 with a dissertation on political theory.

His research focuses on:

• Prejudice reduction against stigmatized minorities (APVV-14-0531)
• The politics of emotions (APVV-17-0596)
• Persuasive communication for Roma integration (PERCOM-REC-AG-2017)
• Global behavioral responses to climate change and pandemics

Andrej contributes to academic governance as a member of the Scientific Board at the Institute for the Study of Social Communication and the Supervisory Board at the Institute for Sociology. He also serves on the Editorial Board of Sociológia (Slovak Academy of Sciences). His recent collaborations include the Politics of Race and Ethnicity Lab at the University of Texas at Austin (since 2022).
