Andreas Zell is a full Professor at the University of Tübingen's Faculty of Science, Department of Computer Science. He holds the Chair of Cognitive Systems and has been a key figure in the Wilhelm Schickard Institute for Computer Science since 1995. As founding director of the Center for Bioinformatics Tübingen (ZBIT) in 2001, he has shaped interdisciplinary research at the intersection of computer science, robotics, and bioinformatics.
