Andreas Türler

Andreas Türler is Professor of Radiochemistry at the University of Bern and heads the Laboratory of Radiochemistry at PSI. His research focuses on nuclear chemistry, including the study of superheavy elements, radionuclide production for medical applications, and radioanalytical chemistry.

Türler investigates the chemistry of transactinide elements and develops methods for producing radioisotopes for cancer therapy and diagnostics. His work includes developing novel 99mTc generator systems for medical imaging and studying polonium behavior in nuclear systems.
