Andreas Schmidt-Ott

Andreas Schmidt-Ott is an Adjunct Professor at The Cyprus Institute's Climate and Atmosphere Research Center (CARE-C) with expertise in nanoparticle technology and materials science. His primary research areas include nanoparticle synthesis, nanostructured materials, and energy applications, with over 150 scientific publications. He previously served as Professor of Nanoparticle Technology at Delft University of Technology and received the prestigious Smoluchowski Award for his contributions to aerosol research.

Research Focus: Develops innovative nanoparticle production methods and studies their applications in energy systems and environmental technologies.

Affiliations: Co-founded VSParticle company specializing in nanomaterial equipment and contract research.
