Andreas Rupf is a Lecturer at ETH Zürich's Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering, where he has served since 2021. He is also Head of ETH RAUM, overseeing the MAS Spatial Planning program. He holds an M.A. in Spatial Planning and Urban Design from London (2015) and a Dipl. Ing. in Raumplanung FH (2008). Previously, he founded SPEKTRUM Partner GmbH (2019) and worked as a lecturer at ZHAW in urban landscape studies. His professional experience includes roles as Project Development Manager for the Canton of Zurich and Project Manager at Basler & Hofmann AG.
His research and teaching focus on spatial planning, urban design, and transport infrastructure, with expertise in transforming urban environments through integrated planning approaches. His work emphasizes sustainable development and community engagement in urban landscapes.
Honors include completing his Master's thesis on high street transformation with Merit distinction at the University of Art, Architecture and Design AAD.
He contributes to urban planning competitions and study commissions, applying practical insights to academic curricula in spatial development and landscape architecture.
