Andreas Reimold, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He serves as Chief of Rheumatology at the North Texas VA Health Care System in Dallas and is an Investigator at the Simmons Arthritis Research Center. Dr. Reimold is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in rheumatology and has been with UT Southwestern since 2000.
His education includes a B.A. in biochemical sciences from Harvard College (magna cum laude), an M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, and advanced training through residencies and fellowships at Barnes Jewish Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and the Harvard School of Public Health.
His research and clinical interests focus on rheumatoid arthritis, musculoskeletal medicine, clinical rheumatology, and psoriatic arthritis. He holds the honor of being a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Reimold’s affiliations include the Division of Rheumatic Diseases and the Simmons Arthritis Research Center, where his work contributes to advancing rheumatology research and patient care.
