Prof. Dr. Andreas Löschel is a faculty member at Ruhr University Bochum (RUB), holding the Chair of Environmental and Resource Economics and Sustainability since September 2021. He is also a Research Associate at RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research since 2021 and was previously Chair of Microeconomics, especially Energy and Resource Economics, and Director of the Center for Applied Economic Research at the University of Münster (2014–2021). His research focuses on environmental and resource economics, sustainability, and energy systems.
