Andreas Kirschning

Prof. Dr. Andreas Kirschning is a full professor in the Institute of Organic Chemistry at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. He holds a C4 professorship and serves on the Executive Board and Deputy Management of the Institute. His roles include Exchange Coordinator for Chemistry and Life Science and leading the Synthetic Chemistry Section.

• Education: PhD (1989) and Habilitation (1996) from the University of Hamburg and Technische Universität Clausthal, respectively.
• Research: Focuses on flow reactors, natural product synthesis (anti-infectives, antitumor agents), drug delivery systems, and biomaterials for medical implants. Collaborates with Dr. Dräger on biocompatible materials for stem cell research.
