Andreas Frölich

Andreas Frölich serves as Professor at the University of Music and Dance Cologne - Aachen, Talent Music Masters Academy (Brescia), and "Neue Sterne" Academy (Hanover). He maintains active roles as Artistic Director of the international "MozArte" Festival and EURIADE Festival, while leading the "MozArte" piano competition in Aachen as Jury Chairman and Artistic Director.

His research and performance interests span classical piano repertoire, chamber music interpretation, and pedagogical methodologies for competitive musicians. Frölich's career integrates performance practice with educational leadership through masterclasses at institutions including Mozarteum Salzburg, VIPA Valencia, and Hotchkiss University.

Notable awards include the Sudeten German Cultural Promotion Prize and multiple accolades for his 40+ CD recordings across major labels. As an official Steinway Artist since 2019, he maintains global performance and educational engagements.

Frölich has mentored students to over 80 international competition prizes while serving on juries for prestigious events including the Beethoven Competition Bonn and Brussels "César Franck" competition. His artistic leadership extends to radio productions with major German and international broadcasters.

He performs with ensembles including Mendelssohn Trio Berlin and Ensemble Wien (Vienna Philharmonic), appearing at festivals such as Salzburg Easter Festival, Rheingau Music Festival, and Granada Festival across five continents.
