Andreas Ehelebe

Prof. Andreas Ehelebe is a renowned double bassist and pedagogue affiliated with the Rostock University of Music and Drama since October 2023. He holds a professorship there and previously taught at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig (2022–present). He is also active in the Giuseppe Sinopoli Academy of the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden, where he serves as principal double bass and pedagogue. His career includes principal roles with top orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic and the Deutsche Symphonie Orchester Berlin.
