Andrea Raines

Andrea Raines, MSN, RN, is an Instructor of Nursing at Charleston Southern University’s College of Nursing. She transitioned from a clinical career in emergency nursing to full-time education in 2019, teaching across the BSN and ABSN curriculum. Her work emphasizes integrating Christian values into nursing education and practice.

Andrea’s research interests focus on emergency care, nursing education pedagogy, and faith-based healthcare training. She previously taught paramedic instruction part-time while working in Emergency Departments across the East Coast, balancing wartime deployments and raising four children.
