Andrea Krell

Andrea Krell, M.Ed., is the Director of Teacher Residency Programs at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) for the College of Education and Human Sciences. She coordinates both undergraduate and graduate-level residency pathways and has over 14 years of experience teaching secondary science, math, and STEM courses. Additionally, she served as an assistant principal for five years.

  • B.S. in Chemistry with Licensure, University of Southern Mississippi (2001)
  • M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, Mississippi College (2016)

Her research interests focus on teacher education, STEM pedagogy, and educational leadership, informed by her extensive classroom and administrative experience.
