Andrea Icks

Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Dr. PH Andrea Icks, MBA is a Professor and Director of the Institute for Health Services Research and Health Economics at the German Diabetes Center (DDZ). She also leads the Research Group on Patient-relevant outcomes and serves as Deputy Head of the Research Group on Complex Intervention and Economic Evaluation. Her work focuses on diabetes-related outcomes, health economics, and epidemiological studies in chronic conditions. Dr. Icks has contributed to critical analyses of renal replacement therapy, diabetic foot ulcers, stroke incidence, and blindness trends in diabetic populations.
