Andrea Grim is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Delaware’s College of Health Sciences, Department of Health Behavior & Nutrition Sciences. A registered dietitian (RD), she specializes in medical nutrition therapy, with expertise in nutrition support, functional medicine, and gastrointestinal nutrition. She holds an MS in Dietetics from California State University, Northridge (1998). Professor Grim teaches courses such as Medical Nutrition Therapy, Nutrition and Gastroenterology, and Pediatric Nutrition. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition.
Her research interests emphasize practical applications of nutrition in clinical settings, including functional medicine approaches and pediatric nutrition strategies. Notably, she was honored as Delaware’s 2018 Dietitian of the Year for her contributions to the field.
