Andrea Geier, a Professor of German Literature and Gender Studies at the University of Trier, served as the Max Kade Visiting Professor at Georgetown University's Department of German during Spring 2019. She directs the Center for Postcolonial and Gender Studies (CePoG), focusing on critical analyses of gender, ethnic, and national identity constructs.
