Andrea Fergus

Dr. Andrea Fergus is Professor in the Division of Physical Therapy at Shenandoah University, specializing in neurological rehabilitation across the lifespan. Her clinical expertise includes pediatric and adult populations with movement disorders.

Research focuses on balance assessment, constraint-induced movement therapy, developmental coordination disorder, and orthotic interventions. Recent work examines metacognitive development in physical therapy education and interprofessional learning models.

She received the E Lothman Award for neuroscience scholarship and investigates novel approaches to school-based therapy delivery through telehealth technologies.
