Andre Djiffack is an Associate Professor in the Department of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Oregon, affiliated with the School of Global Studies and Languages within the College of Arts and Sciences. He contributes to the academic mission through teaching and research in French language and Francophone cultural studies.
His research focuses on French and Francophone literature and culture, with particular emphasis on African and postcolonial contexts. His scholarly interests include comparative literature, Romance languages, and cultural expression in French-speaking regions across Africa and the diaspora.
Andre Djiffack earned his academic degrees from the University of Yaoundé, where he completed a B.A. in 1987, Maitrise in 1988, and Doctorat de 3e Cycle in 1992. He later received a Ph.D. from the University of Cape Town in 1998.
