András Rideg

András Rideg is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Quantitative Management, Faculty of Economics, University of Pécs. He holds a Ph.D. and habil. in Economics, as well as a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering. His academic roles intersect with research centers including the Small and Medium Enterprise Competitiveness Research Center (KKVVKK), Regional Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research Center (RIERC), and Thematic Excellence Program (TKP).

His research focuses on empirical studies of SME competitiveness through the Resource-Based View (RBV), financial performance analysis of SMEs from owner perspectives, innovation management in SMEs, and correlations between classical and modern strategic theories. He has authored over two dozen high-quality publications and delivered more than sixty conference presentations.

András has received the Executive Fellow award and contributes to academic governance as an elected member of the Faculty Council (KT) and member of the Faculty Application and Scholarship Committee (KPÖB). He mentors at the Competence and Career Center of the University of Pécs Faculty of Economics.

His publications highlight trends in RBV-based SME analysis, intellectual capital's impact on innovation, and system dynamics modeling for competitiveness. His work spans strategic management, corporate finance, and empirical business research.
