Ancy Gamage

Dr. Ancy Gamage is a Senior Lecturer in the Management Department at RMIT University's City Campus. She specializes in organizational and community inclusion, resilience, and sustainability. Her research focuses on diversity management (intersectionality, neurodiversity), ethics, leadership, and innovative pedagogies. She leads a government-funded project enhancing inclusive active outdoor recreation for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse women.

Dr. Gamage has held leadership roles including Program Manager for the Bachelor of Business (Management and Change) at RMIT and Transnational Education Site Coordinator at Victoria University (2016–2023). She received research and teaching excellence awards at Victoria University and collaborates with UNWTO, the Victorian Tourism Industry Council, and NGOs like Africause.

Her teaching philosophy emphasizes constructivism, active learning, and inclusive environments. She coordinates the 'Managing Change' course. Recent research projects include resilience in visitor economies across Australia, Fiji, and Indonesia, and workforce development in outdoor industries.

Key achievements include co-authoring A-ranked journal articles, policy reports, and technical guides. Awards include Victoria University's Research and Teaching Excellence Awards. She serves on the Africause board supporting African and CALD communities.
