Anca Ralescu

Dr. Anca Ralescu is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cincinnati. She teaches a wide range of computer science courses including Introduction to Computer Science, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Machine Learning. Her PhD in Mathematics/Theory of Probability from Indiana University Bloomington forms the foundation for her interdisciplinary research approach.

Her research centers on machine learning theory and applications, with specific focus on learning from imbalanced data, context-dependent computing, feature selection, and quantum computing.
