Anca Chis Ster is a Research Fellow in Biostatistics at King's College London's Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics, School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences. Her PhD research focuses on statistical methods for handling post-randomization variables in psychosis clinical trials, including non-compliance, missing data, and surrogate outcomes.
Research interests include:

- Surrogate outcome validation
Recent publications examine trial emulation methods, estimand frameworks in clinical research, and large-scale hypertension screening programs. Her methodological work addresses complex statistical challenges in medical research.
Previously, as an NIHR Pre-Doctoral Fellow at Imperial College London, she conducted systematic reviews on rescue medication adjustment in clinical trials and taught statistics for public health programs.
