Anastasios Panagiotelis is an Associate Professor at the Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics at Monash University. He holds a PhD from the University of Sydney and previously served as an Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Researcher at the Technical University of Munich. His research focuses on hierarchical forecasting, Bayesian model selection, and copula models, contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. He has led or participated in major projects such as RACE for 2030 CRC and 'Macroeconomic forecasting in a Big Data world.' His work spans econometrics, business statistics, and interdisciplinary applications in energy, healthcare, and real estate markets.
