Anarina Murillo, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics on the Teaching Scholar Track at Brown University’s Department of Biostatistics. She holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Arizona State University. Her career includes a NIH-funded postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Nutrition Obesity Research Center and Visiting Faculty appointments at NYU’s Global Public Health School. She has extensive experience leading clinical research collaborations with Advance-CTR, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and Women & Infants Hospital.
Her research focuses on health disparities, chronic disease epidemiology, and implementation science.
