Dr. Anand Mahadevan is a Professor and Chief of Service of Radiation Oncology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He serves as Director of the Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) program and co-lead of the GI Cancer Disease Management Group at Perlmutter Cancer Center. His expertise focuses on advanced radiation therapies for complex cancers, particularly hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and metastatic tumors.
Education: MD from Madras Medical College (1988), residency at Harvard Medical School (2003). Prior roles include Professor and Chair of Radiation Oncology at Geisinger Health System. He holds board certification in Radiation Oncology (American Board of Radiology, 2004).
