Analexis Kennedy is a Lecturer of Reading in the School of Teacher Education at the University of Central Florida (UCF). She holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and has 15 years of experience in K-12 education, serving as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, district reading specialist, and professional development coordinator across Florida. Her academic roles include faculty chair for the KnightED Talks Professional Learning Workshops, which partners with districts and universities to enhance teacher candidate programs. She also serves as course shepherd for RED 4043 and RED 3012.
Her research focuses on literacy development, coaching strategies, professional learning systems, and adult learning theories. She regularly presents at international, national, and state conferences, emphasizing practical applications of research in educational settings.
