Ana Sánchez-Rojo

Ana Sánchez-Rojo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Music at Tulane University's School of Liberal Arts, specializing in Historical Musicology and Hispanic Identity. Her research explores Spanish Colonial Music History, with a focus on race, status, and cultural dynamics in New Spain and Enlightenment-era Spain. She teaches courses on Latin American music, including topics like 'Music of the Mexico-U.S. Border' and 'Music of Latin American Outlaws.'
