Ana Mitrevski

Ana Mitrevski is a Lecturer at the Department of German Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. She earned her Doctorate in Philological Sciences (2021) with a dissertation on the reception of Bertolt Brecht's plays in Serbia, a Master's degree (2013) focused on translating Brecht's works into Serbian, and a Diploma in German Studies (2012). Her research spans German drama, literary translation, theater pedagogy, and comparative cultural analysis.

Her academic work emphasizes Bertolt Brecht's influence, particularly through translations and analyses of his plays. She has contributed to journals and thematic collections, addressing topics like phraseological equivalence and pedagogical applications of theater. Her publications reveal a strong focus on intercultural exchanges between German and Serbian literary traditions.

Mitrevski serves as a translator and moderator at international literary festivals, including the Novi Sad Literary Festival (2015, 2018). She has participated in educational committees and expert juries for theater events in Novi Sad. Her professional training includes seminars in Cluj-Napoca (2014–2018) and study stays in Freiburg (2013) and Ludwigsburg (2008), enhancing her expertise in theater pedagogy.
