Ana Maria Balseiro Morales

Ana Maria Balseiro Morales is a Professor at the University of León, affiliated with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine's Animal Health department. She specializes in veterinary pathology, wildlife health, and infectious disease epidemiology.

Doctoral graduate from the University of León (2004), her thesis focused on Bovine paratuberculosis assessment of cross-reactions with the tuberculin test, evaluation of diagnostic techniques and prevalence in Asturias. She has supervised multiple research projects through her leadership in the PASAFA Pathology and Animal Health in Wildlife and SANPATRUM Health and Pathology of Ruminants research groups.
