Dr. Ana Londoño is an Associate Professor of Earth Sciences at Lindenwood University's College of Science, Technology, and Health. She holds a B.E. in Geological Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Cincinnati. With 11 years of university teaching experience and seven years in government geologic mapping, her research focuses on interdisciplinary interactions between geologic processes and human activities. Key areas include pre-Columbian agricultural terraces in Peru, water resource management under stress, natural hazards (e.g., landslides, earthquakes), and 3D mapping of archaeological sites using geospatial technologies.
