Ana Henriques

Ana Henriques serves as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Education, University of Lisbon (ULisboa), specializing in mathematics education research and instruction from her office in Cabinet D-207. Her work focuses on advancing pedagogical practices through technology integration and teacher development, with contact via achenriques@ie.ulisboa.pt.

Her research centers on Mathematical reasoning, Teaching and Learning of Mathematics and Statistics, and Technology in initial teacher training, with specific expertise in Teacher knowledge development across Statistics, Mathematical Modeling, STEAM education, and TPACK frameworks. This work drives innovations in curriculum design and classroom practices for prospective educators.

Recent publications (2018-2023) reveal a consistent emphasis on pre-service teacher education, technology-mediated learning, and mathematical reasoning development. Her studies frequently employ case-based and experimental methodologies with teacher trainees, highlighting practical applications for classroom instruction.
