Ana E. Merlo Reyes

Dr. Ana E. Merlo Reyes is a researcher at the Center for Applied Geoscience Research (CIGA) within the Faculty of Sciences at National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She conducts interdisciplinary research examining land use practices and their environmental consequences.

She develops practical mitigation strategies to protect both ecosystem integrity and farmer health through collaborations with the Soil Physics Laboratory (Institute of Geology-UNAM) and the Environmental Geosciences Laboratory (IGE-UGA, France).
