Ana Cristina Mendes

Professor Ana Cristina Mendes serves as Associate Professor in the Department of English Studies at the University of Lisbon's Faculty of Arts and participates in the Program in Culture and Communication. Since 2022, she has directed the Association for Cultural Studies, a globally recognized institution in her field.

Her research spans:

She has led postgraduate programs including Communication and Trends (2012-2018), Creative Industries and Cultures: Management and Strategies (2016-2019), and trends management and communication (2019-2020).

She is affiliated with the Trends and Culture Management Lab, a ULICES/CEAUL project under the Cultural and Communication Program (FLUL), focusing on creative cultures and trend analysis.
