Amy Yarbrough Landry

Amy Yarbrough Landry is the Howard W. Houser Endowed Professor in Health Services Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where she has held roles including Professor, Associate Professor, and Program Director since 2008. She leads the Department of Health Services Administration and serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA). Her academic background includes a Ph.D. in Health Care Administration from UAB (2006) and prior faculty experience at the University of Florida.

Landry's research focuses on strategic healthcare organization behavior, organizational performance, and human resources management. Notable projects include studies on rural hospital financial performance and nursing home financial distress. Her work appears in journals like Journal of Healthcare Management and Health Care Management Review.

She has received awards such as the 2007 American College of Healthcare Executives Health Management Research Award and the 2011 Lister Hill Center research award.
