Amy Stradtmann

Dr. Amy Stradtmann serves as Associate Professor of Education and Director of the Middle Level Education Program at Concordia University, Nebraska, where she oversees the undergraduate literacy education program and prepares future educators for grades 5-9 teaching roles.

She holds a doctorate in literacy from Judson University and brings over thirty years of comprehensive experience in Lutheran education systems, spanning primary and secondary teaching, administration, and program development.

Her research centers on adolescent reading motivation with specialized focus on graphic novels' pedagogical applications and visual literacy integration. Dr. Stradtmann is committed to developing student-centered learning environments that maximize educational outcomes through evidence-based literacy strategies.
