Amy Shollenbarger

Amy Shollenbarger is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication Disorders at Arkansas State University's College of Nursing & Health Professions. She has over 15 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist in public schools, joined A-State in 2011, and earned her Ph.D. in 2014 through the Arkansas Consortium of Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Her research focuses on neuroscience, language, and literacy related to communication disorders, with teaching expertise in neurological bases of disorders, craniofacial anomalies, and fluency. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and is affiliated with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Arkansas Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and International Reading Association.
