Amy Shlosberg is a Professor of Criminology at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), affiliated with the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice in Becton College. She holds a BS in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University, an MA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and a PhD in Criminal Justice from The Graduate Center at City University of New York.

Research Interests
Amy's research focuses on the negative implications of incarceration, issues surrounding offender reentry and reintegration, policy and procedural reform in criminal justice systems, and the causes and remedies of wrongful convictions. She also investigates post-secondary education opportunities within prison systems and post-release.
Podcasting & Scholarly Contributions
She co-hosts two podcasts: Direct Appeal, analyzing the trial and conviction of Melanie McGuire for the murder of her husband, and Women and Crime, which explores female offenders, victims, and wrongful convictions through a criminological lens.
Amy has published in journals such as the Albany Law Review, Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology, and Deviant Behavior.
