Amy McGovern is a Lloyd G. and Joyce Austin Presidential Professor at the University of Oklahoma, holding dual professorships in the School of Computer Science and School of Meteorology. She directs the NSF-funded AI Institute for Research on Trustworthy AI in Weather, Climate, and Coastal Oceanography (AI2ES), a multi-institutional initiative advancing AI for environmental decision-making.
