Amy M. Johnson

Dr. Amy M. Johnson serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Counseling Education Program at Campbell University's School of Education and Human Sciences. She concurrently holds the position of Director of Counseling Services on campus, overseeing clinical field experiences and supervising graduate students. With a Doctorate of Education in Christian Counseling from Southeastern Theological Baptist Seminary, her expertise spans clinical therapy, counseling program development, and educational supervision.

Education: B.S. in Psychology (Campbell University), M.Ed. in Counseling (Campbell University), Ed.D. in Christian Counseling (Southeastern Theological Baptist Seminary).

Research interests focus on integrating faith-based practices into counseling methodologies, clinical supervision frameworks, and enhancing mental health accessibility in academic settings. Her professional credentials include licensure as a mental health therapist and clinical supervisor in North Carolina, alongside national counseling certification.

Community involvement includes leadership roles with Kiwanis of Lillington, Coats Elementary PTO, and Coats Area Chamber of Commerce. She advises Campbell University's CKI chapter, a global service organization.
