Amy Lennertz

Amy Lennertz is a part-time Professor of Illustration at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Atlanta. She holds an M.F.A. in Illustration from SCAD and a B.A. in Studio Art and Art History from Florida State University. Her professional career includes roles as an illustrator and designer for Southern Scene (2018–present), Clash Graphics (2019), and The Bookshelf (2018–19). She has been recognized with the 2015 Creative Quarterly Illustration Award (CQ41).

Her research interests focus on collaborative art practices, narrative illustration techniques, and visual storytelling, with exhibitions such as 'Tarot of Villainy' (2016) and 'Valkyries Art Show' (2014). Her work explores themes in dark fantasy, urban art, and sequential art.

Notable projects include the collaborative comic book 'Sweaty Palms Anthology Vol. 2' (2017–18) and involvement with galleries like Hodgepodge and Mindzai in Atlanta. She is affiliated with the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles.
