Amy Elliott

Dr. Amy Elliott is an Assistant Professor of Leadership Studies at Marietta College, appointed to faculty in 2023. She has been affiliated with the institution since 2016, initially directing the Nonprofits LEAD program before becoming Director of the Office of Community Engagement in 2021. Her academic background includes a Ph.D. in Clinical Hypnotherapy (2008), an MA in Communication (1998), and a BS in Communication (1995), all from Ohio University and American Pacific University.

• Research Focus: Organizational sustainability, nonprofit capacity-building, and bridging campus-community partnerships.

Dr. Elliott brings experience from both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, including founding and leading organizations. She currently serves as a trustee for the Memorial Health Foundation, a Bronze Award Leader for Girl Scouts, and a lifetime member of the Marietta Welfare League. Her work emphasizes fostering systemic change through community collaboration.
