About
Amy Cooke is an Assistant Professor of Biology and Coordinator of Biochemistry and Biophysics at Haverford College. She utilizes interdisciplinary approaches spanning molecular biology, biochemistry, genomics, and mass spectrometry to investigate RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) and their regulatory roles in health and disease.
Her research focuses on elucidating how RBPs control RNA processing, localization, and function across different cellular contexts. Key interests include understanding RBPs' involvement in diseases such as cancer, epilepsy, and obesity through mechanistic studies of RNA regulation.
