Amy Cohen is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Illinois, affiliated with the Department of Psychology in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. She serves as Associate Director of the Psychological Services Center (PSC) and Director of the University of Illinois Autism Clinic, where she trains doctoral students in evidence-based assessment of developmental disabilities across the lifespan.
Her research focuses on evidence-based interventions in autism spectrum disorder (ASD), particularly ASD symptomatology in women and girls. She contributes to interdisciplinary education as psychology faculty for the Illinois Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Program, funded by the Maternal Child Health Bureau.
