Dr. Amy Caton is an Associate Professor in the College of Marine Sciences & Maritime Studies at Texas A&M University at Galveston, where she serves as Director of the Writing Lab & Studio. Her academic foundation includes a PhD in Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas (2024), an MS in Information Sciences (UNT, 2012), and an MA in English from Texas State University (2006).
Her research explores interdisciplinary connections between writing instruction, technology, and STEM education, with specific focus areas including:
