Amy Black is a Professor of Economics at Hastings College. She earned her B.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Hastings College and the University of Notre Dame, respectively. After teaching at Hanover College, she returned to Hastings College in 2001.
Her research and teaching interests include:
- Integrating economics into K-12 education through literature
- Outdoor classroom projects via Nature Explore
- Economic development initiatives aligned with Heifer International
She also serves as a co-faculty advisor for the Omicron Delta Epsilon economics honorary.
